iColor Plus Shampoo-In Hair Color Review | sharleen garcia

iColor Plus Shampoo-In Hair Color

If you are coloring your hair you'll probably know the feeling when your hair roots are growing hehehe. So when the time came for me, i wanted to dye my roots but without the use of boxed dye since I'll be just using small amount of dye for my hair.

So wanted to try the hair dye I used way back first year college, when i dyed my hair black since our university wouldn't allow to have colored hair. Because its easy to use, convenient and very affordable. But i could not go to the nearest Watson from me. So, decide to look into the 711 nearby and found this product.

This product was similar to the one i used before so i wanted to give it  a try and also i have no choice hahaha. Luckily, the only available color is closest to my hair color. I'll be sharing how i use the product and will share my experience and final thoughts in the later part of this post.

BEFORE

Here is my growing roots hehehe, this is the only pic i have pala, before using the product.

PRODUCT

Inside the paper packaging is the sachet product and includes 1 gloves for us to use.

This is what it looks like when you open the product, The sachet is divided into 2 wherein the side has the colorant and the other is the oxidizer or developer if I'm nit mistaken.
I was really amazed by this because the one I had before comes with 2 separate sachet and you'll going to mix it in the container.

This what it looks like after pouring it in the container.

And this is a 1 sachet of mixed iColor Shampoo. The product looks like a watery shampoo.

DEMO

Here is after I put 2 sachets of product on my root. I used 2 sachets pala 'cause I have super thick hair that's why i knew 1 sachet would not be enough for my hair. It feels like a normal but watery shampoo pero hindi naman siya nabula nang parang shampoo hahahah. The smell is good too, hindi masakit sa ilong. Sinimot ko yung product so pinunas punas ko siya sa buong buhok ko hahaha.

A closer but low quality look hahaha. While waiting for it to dry set onto my hair, my hair becomes really hard hahahah look at the hair hanging infront hahahah.

And this is the after washed-air dried hair. In the photo, it looks like it kinda did nothing to my roots but at personal there was really a change of color.

I expect it to be patchy but I'm happy with how it came out, it did darken my hair a little bit, but i super love it, tingin niyo naman yung pic hahahahah feel na feel!
My roots here are still dark but it did lighten my roots a little bit in person.

A closer look of my newly dyed roots.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

The product is quite good to be honest, it didn't really makes my hair super dry. And the experience from using this product is really great as well, its very easy to use, its not super tricky or hassle to use. Though, I think this product is for very short and thin hair people because it has a small amount of product per sachet, and if you have super thick and long hair you might need to use more of this product for your hair and i think it will cost a bit more than the usual box dye hair colorant. I also think that it is best to use if your hair is lighter than the natural black hair to see a huge difference of color, like what happen to me there is a little change for my regrowth hair.

That's all for my review today. I hope you enjoy and i hope this was helpful for some of you guys
